Corporate Identity

Our corporate identity logo consist of the Star of David and The Cross. The Star of David, known in Hebrew as the Shield of David or Magen David, symbolizes that God rules over the universe and is our shield in all six directions: north, south, east, west, up, and down with the middle (the hexagram) providing the spiritual dimension. At the centre of spirituality is Jesus Christ, represented by The Cross at the centre of the hexagram on the logo.

The interpretation of The Cross is generally accepted as our redemption through Jesus Christ, but more detail is needed on the Star of David.  It must be noted that the Star of David has been adopted by many religions and denominations, with each applying their own interpretation and meaning. Prominent use of the Star of David is seen in Judaism, the Israel flag, Latter-day Saints, Occultism, Freemasons, even Muslims who call it the Seal of Solomon or the Talisman of Saturn.

The use of the Star of David by any organisation does not mean ownership of the symbol. Many religions that have accepted Old Testament theology and rejected Jesus Christ (New Testament theology) have adopted the use of the symbol. For Yeshua Worship Cathedral the combined use of the Star of David together with The Cross means we have accepted both Old Testament and New Testament theology. Shadow Christology informs us that the New Testament was in the Old Testament but concealed and the Old Testament is in the New Testament, now revealed.

The name of the church is Yeshua Worship Cathedral, a name inspired by the Hebrew name of our Lord Jesus Christ being “Yeshua Ha’Mashiach” which means “Jesus the Anointed One”. The name Jesus (lesous / yay-sus) is the Greek form of the Hebrew name Yeshua / Yehoshua. The church adopted the Hebrew name of Jesus for its corporate identity, hence the name Yeshua Worship Cathedral, with cathedral being a principal church or place of worship.
